Hey, I thought that sounds familiar. It’s the Kintronics approach. So I ran the architectural comparison past Dennis Gallen, Kintronics Vice President of Sales
“No, “he said. “ We take an engineering approach. “
I asked him to elaborate.
“We start with a consultative investigation and report, asking questions and talking to the customer so we can make sure they get everything they need.“
“We review where each IP camera will be installed. We determine what areas each will be viewing, the resolution required for each camera, the camera’s light sensitivity, the frame rates, the network bandwidth required, the computers and storage required, and the network switches. We select the correct camera lenses for each location, the correct enclosures, and the best approach for wiring the system."
I wonder about the other products Kintronics sells. Access control?
“ For the access control systems we review each of the doors, get pictures when necessary, review the network connections, how each device will be mounted, what the best electric lock is for each door and how the software will be used as, well as the computer required to support the system.”

And IP Paging Systems?

I comment how different that is than just going to what I call a big box type dealer. But he says there’s more to Kintronics approach.
Decision Assistance
“Once we have completed the consultative phase, we work with the prospective customer to review the pros and cons of a number of solutions, including a review against the budget available. We make sure they understand so they can make an educated decision on the best solution.”
I comment that it sounds like the old Syms designer wear commercial so often heard on TV, "An educated consumer is our best customer."
But it goes beyond education, he tells me
Support:
“Besides providing post sales technical support, we assure that the equipment they purchased operates as expected and that the customer gets full use of all the systems. And after that we continue to provide technical support and warranty assistance if needed.”
So if you’ve ever heard Kintronics described as a value added distributor now you know what the value is. Engineering.
This post is wonderful as the information given is needed by me. I am thankful to get this post when i was searching iq
